Gap:  To help healthcare providers learn about their role in identifying victims with disabilities and supporting survivors of human trafficking.

This training will inform health care professionals on the intersection of human trafficking and disability and build capacity to improve response and treatment of survivors of trafficking with disabilities.

Desired Outcomes:

  •  Recognize the role of health care providers (HCP) in addressing human trafficking (HT)
  • Identify both sex trafficking and labor trafficking including methods and forms
  • Identify potential or confirmed victims of HT in patients with disabilities
  • Review the intersection between human trafficking and disability
